ourRelics began with a moment of loss. When RJ, one of our co-founders, lost his grandmother, he realized he'd never again get to hear her stories — the wisdom, humor, and warmth that had shaped his life. That absence lit a fire: What if we could build something that helps us hold on to the voices of the people we love? Something that captures their essence, preserves their words, and connects us long after they're gone.

Together, RJ and Nik turned that spark into a mission — to connect people and preserve what matters. ourRelics is built to help family and friends of recently deceased to capture and preserve the memories and experiences you shared with your loved one.

Each memorial is unique. Each moment is a contribution of a friend or family member, capturing their voice, their a perspective, and their experience. Whether it's a heartfelt message, a story from the past, or a simple tribute, our platform compiles these into a single "relic" — something tangible, meaningful, and lasting.
